A New Blog!

Well, after much trouble with Blogger on another blog that got stuck in limbo somewhere, I said fuck it and decided to just make a new one.

Writing hasn't really been on my mind lately. I can't tell you why, just nothing to say I guess. With Orble, I felt like I should have a TOPIC and I was running short on those lately. I missed journaling though. I like it, and want to keep it up. Get my thoughts out I guess.

The big thing on my mind right now is the move. Found out today that we'll probably leave in November instead of January. We also found out that getting on base housing isn't as easy peasy as we thought. I'm so thoroughly nauseous right now. Buying a house out there is a big HELLLL NO. Just too damn expensive. Friends that live there right now own a 300k house. He is in the NAvy and the wife works too. I want to stay home with the kids, that's important to me. Even if we rent an apartment until base housing kicks in, I will probably still have to work part time to bring some cash in. Which sucks. But, we all gotta do what we gotta do right? I'm not against working, but I just suck at it. With the whole "being on time" shit.

Today, was Aislinn's last day of school. She did really well on her report card so she got a new Nintendo DS game. Pokemon. She has been glued to it pretty much all afternoon. We went to lunc with Tony today to a buffet place which was NICE, but you know.... it's a buffett, and I tend to over eat. I left the hosue wearing a shirt that was too small when I bought it a month ago. Now my belly is hanging out and I hate it.

Wow, who would have thought I would feel "rusty" writing again? Weird huh? I wonder when my last post on Orble was. May 16th. Ok not TOO long ago.
